Creative Minds Childcare & Preschool program is filled with rich opportunities that will engage each child and meet them where they are in their development. We provide a hands on curriculum which expands across multiple learning styles. This allows for many open ended opportunities for the children to imagine, become creative, explore and be fully engaged with the activity as they learn and develop their skills
Loose parts encourage open-ended learning.
Open ended materials, environments, and experiences encourage problem solving and are child centered. Children involve themselves in concrete experiences using loose parts, which lead to explorations that occur naturally, as opposed to adult directed.
Research shows that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain's pathways, which lead to the child's ability to complete more complex learning tasks. Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction.
Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to learn to read. Children who enter school with these skills have an advantage that carries with them throughout their school years. Reading is an essential skill for success in school and later in life.
